Academic Courses of the Department

  1. The Department is responsible for teaching Medicine (Lectures and clinical classes) for the clinical (3rd year, 4th year & 5th year) students of MBBS courses of Ibrahim Medical College.
  2. The Department is responsible for teaching Medicine (Lectures and clinical classes) for the clinical 3rd year students of BDS courses of Ibrahim Medical College.
  3. The Department is responsible for training of Internee Doctors placed under BIRDEM Academy from Ibrahim Medical College and outside.
  4. MD part II course in Medicine& allied subjects, MD Final part course in Internal Medicine and DEM student’s training are running in this department under BIRDEM Academy.
  5. MD Residency Programme is also running in this department under BIRDEM Academy.
  6. The Department is serving as one of the centers for MCPS& FCPS examination successfully.

 

Voluntary expertise services are given to the patients in the affiliated branches of Bangladesh Diabetic Association all over the country.
